Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is a non-profit organization founded in 1971. The purpose of the Association for Women in Mathematics is:

Mathematical Association of America (MAA): The Mathematical Association of America is the largest professional society that focuses on mathematics accessible at the undergraduate level. Our members include college and university faculty; mathematical scientists, industry, and government; graduate and undergraduate students; teachers; and others in fields related to mathematics. We invite all who are interested in the mathematical sciences, including pure and applied mathematics, statistics, operations research and computer science, to enjoy and benefit from our programs, publications, and resources.
