DOME Spring 2010 Symposium: Developing the Green STEM Pipeline

Dear Colleagues,
The DOME Foundation, Bunker Hill Community College, the Latino STEM Alliance, BATEC (Boston-area Advanced Technological Education Connections), and the Metro Boston Secondary Postsecondary CVTE Linkage Consortium are sponsoring a spring symposium entitled “Developing the Green STEM Pipeline” for administrators and educators in mathematics, science, engineering and technology at schools in Massachusetts and the Boston metropolitan area, scientists, engineers and students - and all who are interested in STEM education and the development of a Green STEM Pipeline for our students.
Come share your experiences with your colleagues; hear about developments in state and federal funding, a completed and ongoing college green project, a vocational high school’s renewable energy projects, and a proposed hydroponics project at Bunker Hill Community College.
Registration is $30.
Some of our featured speakers will include:
Dr. Richard Harris, Director of Multicultural Engineering, Northeastern University;
Marybeth Campbell, Workforce Development Program Director, Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
